Recruit Travel Bag

These confuse people. What are they? Recruit Travel Bags. We need to pin that with documentation though so it's not a guess.

They didn't have the modern type of basic training back then. Recruits going overseas were given telescope cases to carry their stuff.

So, either the recruit travel bag or one of the older pre-1910 haversacks replaced the telescope case.

H.D. Taylor Co., Buffalo, N.Y., travel bags and paulins. It's not a paulin so one man is left standing.
