Yes, it's well after WW2. Korea in fact. I'm not going to create a forum for that. So here it is.

Worden Specialty Machine made them. Contract is August of 1953.

Novelty was earlier. Contract is May of 1953.


So May of 1953 is the earliest?

No. They were making them before the contract was completed. Not that unusual. It was often the case that production would start with a purchase order and then the contract itself would follow.

I doubt there are any earlier than that.
