Understanding Lists

One of the biggest pitfalls in understanding this stuff is lists.

Makers of M-1928 Haversacks:
Baker-Lockwood
Boyt Harness
Bradds, Inc.
Crawford Austin Mfg. Co.
Felt Novely
Focke-Wulf
Gihon, H.D.
Grumman
Kellburn Mfg. Co.
Messerschmidt
Varied Mfg. Co.

See what I mean? There is never any way to tell what's good and bad. Somebody will do good work and create a list which is accurate. Then others add entries without the required research and/or, more often, bad guesses.

In case the links go dead here is the current list. Please feel free to fill in any blanks or correct any errors.

Looks good doesn't it? I can point to one specific one in that list which is provably wrong. Might be more than one, but one in particular is clearly wrong. That is the problem with lists. Lists are bad. Unless I create them, then they're golden. Guaranteed or your money back.
